It’s strange just how often the invasions in Elden Ring will lead to comedy moments recorded by invaders that were just expecting regular PvP duels. Elden Ring’s character creator and wide variety of weapons have allowed players to make many bizarre and peculiar characters with which they can explore the Lands Between and delight other players.

Many recognizable pop-culture figures have been recreated in Elden Rings character creator, from Spawn to a terrifying Sonic the Hedgehog. It’s unlikely though, that Reddit user GCade would have ever expected to come face to face with someone’s Elden Ring recreation of Jesus upon invading their world.
While some Elden Ring invasions can end up going extremely wrong, others can end in a benevolent stalemate. This Reddit user’s invasion of the host players world finds them face to face with a surprisingly meticulous recreation of Jesus walking slowly towards them, wearing a white robe. Clearly left staggered by what they were witnessing, the invader makes no attempt to avoid or attack the oncoming host player. Then in an almost unbelievable bit of timing, both players activate the rapture emote at the exact same time, and in such a way that it looks like the host player is slowly raising the invader’s hands into the sky.
Captioning the post “I entered This world as an invader. I left as a believer,” The Reddit user is clearly aware of the unusual religiousness of this encounter. The strangeness is not lost on the comments of the post either, with many fans noting the amusing idea that there is one Elden Ring player out there converting all of their invaders one by one.
The PvP side of Elden Ring is an extremely popular aspect of the game that many players new to the series may not even know exists until they decide to give it a go. But with Elden Ring’s huge player-base it seems like more players than ever are using the invasion mechanic solely as a way to create comical scenarios for other Elden Ring players to find themselves in.
Elden Ring is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
