There is a vast diversity in Elden Ring bosses, as some are giant beasts like dragons, while others are humanoid foes like Crucible Knights and Malenia, Blade of Miquella. Some Elden Ring bosses like Rennala and Sir Gideon Ofnir excel in magic-based combat, while others like the Bell Bearing Hunter are masters of hand-to-hand fighting. Now, one Elden Ring gamer has made a tier list of the game’s bosses based on a rather unusual parameter, their babysitting abilities.

Reddit user reddit_is_garbage45 uploaded an image on the Elden Ring subreddit showing their unique boss tier list. They have categorized different bosses based on the user’s willingness to allow them to babysit their child. The user has opted for different tier names, unlike the usual levels like S, A, B, C, etc. The top tier has the Elden Ring bosses most suitable for babysitting, including Rennala, Queen of The Full Moon; Godfrey, The First Elden Lord; Sir Gideon Ofnir; Morgott; Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy; and Radagon/Elden Beast. The next tier is marked ‘maybe’ and contains foes like Malenia, Starscourge Radahn, Maliketh, Loretta, Commander Niall, Fire Giant, and Red Wolf of Radagon from Elden Ring.
Reddit_is_garbage45 has denoted the third level as ‘probably not’ and added names like Godrick the Grafted, Godskin Apostle, Lichdragon Fortissax, and Elemer of the Briar. The final tier is marked ’no’ and contains some of the toughest Elden Ring bosses like Valiant Gargoyles; Astel, Naturalborn of the Void; Godskin Noble; Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast; Magma Wyrm Makar; and Dragonkin Soldier. There’s another Elden Ring boss outside any tier, Mohg, Lord of Blood, which could mean this boss isn’t even in consideration for babysitting.
Reddit_is_garbage45’s tier list of Elden Ring bosses is not the first, as many fans have created similar lists, but they are usually based on the boss’s skills, combat abilities, or difficulty. One fan made an Elden Ring boss tier list after finishing new game +7, with ratings like “The Best” and “Pretty Cool.” They put bosses like Maliketh, Godrey, and Mohg in the top tier, and Commander Niall, Fia’s Champions, and Valiant Gargoyles were in the bottom-most category.
Elden Ring is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
