FromSoftware recently launched patch 1.08 for Elden Ring, which brought a slew of bug fixes, balance adjustments, and a brand new PvP mode called Colosseums. The developer has added Colosseums in Limgrave, Leyndell, and Caelid, where players can battle against each other to see who’s the most skilled and intuitive. Besides the aforementioned additions, Elden Ring 1.08 introduced new hairstyles and similar cosmetic items, allowing fans to be more creative with their characters. One fan has taken it a step further and made a renowned personality from a 90s anime and manga called Sailor Moon.

Reddit user heavy_tempest uploaded an image on the social media platform showing their Elden Ring avatar in a photo collage. Surprisingly, their character looks highly inspired by the titular character of the popular anime series Sailor Moon. The collage has three pictures, one of Sailor Moon for reference, and the other two of their Elden Ring avatar from different angles. The most eye-catching characteristic of Sailor Moon is her blonde hair, which is styled into two ponytails, one on each side. Heavy_tempest has neatly replicated this feature in their Elden Ring character.

Notably, the recent patch added the ponytail hairstyle and has been widely appreciated by Elden Ring fans. Another gamer used the aforementioned hairstyle not long ago to make Harley Quinn in Elden Ring. Many new styles were added in the latest update, including the anime-inspired hairstyle that resembles Dante’s hair from the Devil May Cry series. Heavy_tempest’s creation joins the club of numerous Elden Ring player characters that are inspired by iconic anime figures.

For Elden Ring fans who don’t know, Sailor Moon is the titular character from the anime of the same name. She is a schoolgirl named Usagi Tsukino who gains magical powers and transforms into Sailor Moon, a guardian soldier who must save the Earth from dangerous evils. She later assembles a team called the Sailor Guardians, who fight villains to protect the Earth and the Solar System. It will be interesting to see how heavy_tempest’s Sailor Moon faces the challenges in the perilous world of Elden Ring.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
