Elden Ring players have made some genuinely unique avatars in the game, ranging from real-world people like Benedict Cumberbatch and William Dafoe to fictional figures like Kratos from the God of War series and Obi-Wan Kenobi from the Star Wars universe. Another Elden Ring fan has created a movie character who is also a historical figure using the game’s creation tools.

Reddit user Lady-Macdeath uploaded an image on the social media platform showing their Elden Ring character. At first glance, the user’s Elden Ring character looks nearly identical to William Wallace, a Scottish knight who appears in Braveheart. Braveheart is an epic historical movie based on the First Scottish War of Independence, where Sir William Wallace, a knight, led the Scottish army against King Edward I of England. William Wallace is the titular character in the movie and is played by the famous actor Mel Gibson. In the film, Wallace paints his face with blue color and wears the traditional Scottish armor during an iconic battle, which Lady-Macdeath has recreated brilliantly.

The user has shared a collage of three pictures, two of which show their avatar, and the third is of a close-up of Mel Gibson’s character in the movie. The facial structure, features, and hair of the two versions of William Wallace are almost indistinguishable, with only one notable difference. The original William Wallace from Braveheart had two stripes of paint on either side of his face, as seen in the image, whereas Lady-Macdeath’s variant has a single stripe on his right side. The original poster also provided a link to a YouTube video that shows the sliders for creating William Wallace using Elden Ring’s character creator.

Lady-Macdeath is an expert at making famous movies and TV characters in Elden Ring, as this is not the first time they’ve made one. They made Doc Emmett Brown from the Back To The Future series not long ago. The user seems to be an avid Game of Thrones fan, as they’ve created multiple characters from the TV series using Elden Ring’s creation tools as well. Jaime and Tyrion Lannister, The Hound, and Brienne of Tarth are some famous Game of Thrones personalities created by Lady-Macdeath.
