Previously, one handicapped Elden Ring player on social media showed off how they were able to play the game incredibly well with just their left foot and right hand. Now, one fan is showing off their experience with the game, as they posted a picture on Reddit of them playing in an empty movie theater. It isn’t an entirely new concept for gamers to rent out a theater to play their favorite titles, and previously some have played Grand Theft Auto 5 or Super Smash Bros. with their friends on the big screen.

User cute_homie on Reddit posted a picture from the back of a movie theater, with Elden Ring’s title screen loaded up in front of them. They managed to have the entire theater to themselves due to the fact that unfortunately, the business was closing down in a few days. Still cute_homie managed to make the most of this situation, as they landed themselves a new and immersive way to play Elden Ring.
Fans in the comments of cute_homie’s Reddit post were discussing which Elden Ring boss would be the most fun to face with the enhanced visuals and audio of a movie theater. Some recoiled in horror as they imagined Malenia introducing herself with a resounding boom, while others believed the lightning attack from Dragonlord Placidusax would be the most devastating sound echoing through the surround speakers. Other fans stated that the Elden Ring player should sell tickets, so others could come watch in a sort of live let’s play.
As stated, gaming and movie theaters have a bit of history between them. As well as players renting out a theater so that they can play a game on their own, movie theaters have also hosted gaming events from time to time. Recently, one Overwatch fan found that they were able to watch the OWL tournament finals by themselves when the theater available for viewing the event was found to be entirely empty.
Elden Ring is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
