YouTuber Iron Pineapple wanted to see if it was possible to beat Elden Ring without directly attacking any enemies, and as it turns out, it can be done. Iron Pineapple shared their incredible Elden Ring pacifist run in a video that explained how exactly they managed to pull it off. It should be noted that the Elden Ring bosses still technically have to die for players to complete the game, but the player character doesn’t have to be the one to directly deal damage.

Most Elden Ring players will be utilizing powerful weapons and spells to take down enemies, but a pacifist player instead has to rely on summons. In specific areas, Elden Ring lets players summon various creatures and allies to help them in fights. As proven by Iron Pineapple’s video, these spirits are actually capable of killing the Elden Ring bosses on their own.
For this take on an Elden Ring pacifist run, players will want to select Prophet as their starting class and spend a ton of runes leveling up Faith so that they can effectively support their summons during the tougher encounters. The Elden Ring Prophet class has Heal as one of its starting spells, which is absolutely integral if anyone wants to try their hand at replicating Iron Pineapple’s incredible pacifist run.
Someone beating Elden Ring as a pacifist is a rather unorthodox way to play the game, but it’s not the only creative challenge that players have tackled. Elden Ring players have beat the game without taking any damage, which is another mind-boggling feat, especially when one considers how challenging the game is when just playing it normally.
Hopefully there will be some fresh Elden Ring challenges for fans to conquer in the future. While FromSoftware hasn’t announced any plans for Elden Ring DLC expansions, fans have their fingers crossed that more adventures in the Lands Between could be on their way at some point in the months ahead.
Elden Ring is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
