Some of these dragons are among the most challenging bosses in Elden Ring, like Dragonlord Placidusax and Borealis, the Freezing Fog. Players spend countless hours trying to defeat these gigantic beasts to get their hands on exciting rewards and thousands of runes. Lichdragon Fortissax is another challenging dragon that poses a tough fight, causing many gamers to rage quit. However, one Elden Ring player has found a neat way to defeat this dragon boss using a brilliant technique.

Reddit user SkipperDontSkip uploaded a short video on the social media platform that shows an easy method to cheese Lichdragon Fortissax from Elden Ring. The video begins with the two adversaries facing one another, and the user summons the mimic tear spirit ashes. The player consumes a couple of flasks to be on the safe side before taking on the dragon head on. What happened next was nothing short of surprising and spectacular. SkipperDontSkip uses the staff in their left hand to unleash a devastating Comet Azur attack, which depletes Lichdragon’s health bar in a matter of seconds.
Many people were amazed to see how easily SkipperDontSkip managed to kill the intimidating Elden Ring dragon without taking a single hit, as seen by their comments. Meanwhile, other gamers struggling to defeat Lichdragon Fortissax thanked the original poster for sharing this method. Some people disapproved of cheesing methods as they believe it deprives the player of the fun and excitement of defeating an Elden Ring boss.
SkipperDontSkip’s video is a prime example of how overpowered a magic-based build can be in Elden Ring. Magic-based players use potent attacks like Comet Azur to defeat some of the strongest enemies in Elden Ring easily. Comet Azur is a sorcery in Elden Ring that acts as a deadly ranged attack that can inflict massive amounts of damage from a distance. Players must have a staggering 60 intelligence to use this sorcery effectively. Its damage can be buffed to an even greater extent by using the Cerulean Hidden Tear or by wearing the Azur’s Glintstone Crown.
Elden Ring is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
