Skyshards in The Elder Scrolls Online can be collected at any level, though they serve players best at Max Level when leveling Skill Points can’t be acquired anymore. While the game provides some basic hints for Skyshard locations, actually finding them in the game’s vast zones isn’t as simple.
What Are Skyshards Used For?
Skyshards are a feature unique to The Elder Scrolls Online that give players another collectible to hunt down. When a player collects three Skyshards (the number collected can be tracked in the Skill screen), they receive a Skill Point to spend.

They typically shine out beams of white light when getting close. As of the Deadlands DLC’s Update 32, a small icon will appear on both the compass and the zoomed-out zone map to show the exact location of a nearby Skyshard, making it easier than ever to hunt down all of these relics.
Where To Find Every Glenumbra Skyshard
In Glenumbra there are 16 Skyshards, just over half of which are in the zone itself, and the rest being located in Glenumbra’s solo and public dungeons – there aren’t any Skyshards in group trial content.
There are two “groups” of Skyshards that are easy to collect in the zone: around Daggerfall, and in the northern end of Glenumbra. Travel to the Daggerfall Wayshrine to collect Skyshards number 1, 10, 11, 12, and 16 within a few minutes of each other. The Crosswych Wayshrine is located centrally between Skyshards 7, 8, 9, 14, and 15 in the north.
The Elder Scrolls Online is available for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S
