While its two, three, and four item bonuses increase resource totals and basic damage, its full set bonus has the potential to affect every other piece of armor being worn. The Heartland Conqueror set will make a player reconsider the traits imbued on their armor, as its power is directly correlated with these normally unimpactful bonuses.
Heartland Conqueror Set Bonuses
Two Items Equipped: Adds 129 Weapon and Spell Damage Three Items Equipped: Adds 1096 Max Magicka Four Items Equipped: Adds 1096 Max Stamina Full Set Bonus: Increases power of all Weapon Traits by 100% (not including Ornate or Intricate)
The Heartland Conqueror set increases Maximum Magicka and Stamina and increases a player’s Weapon and Spell Damage by a small amount across the board. These benefits are appealing enough, if a bit unfocused, until one sees the full set bonus. When wearing five pieces of the Heartland Conqueror set, the power of traits on a player’s weapons are doubled.
This means that a weapon with a Legendary Nirnhoned trait imbued onto it will now increase Weapon Damage by 30% instead of 15%, and a two-handed weapon with the Training trait increases Xp Gain by 18% instead of 9%. This armor set has a lot of theoretical power in the right build, but unfortunately, few have found a place for it in the current ESO meta.
How To Get The Heartland Conqueror Set
Crafting Location: Sariellen’s Sword, in central-east Blackwood Crafting Requirements: 7 researched traits
The Heartland Conqueror armor set can be crafted at Sariellen’s Sword, an outdoor crafting area located in central-eastern Blackwood just northeast of Gideon. Being such a high-powered set has one drawback, being that crafters must have researched no less than seven traits on weapons and armor they want to imbue with Heartland Conqueror bonuses.
Go into crafting the Heartland Conqueror armor set with an idea of which trait you want to imbue onto your build’s primary weapon. Good options depend on your build, for instance a doubled Powered trait is much more useful to healthers than DPS, while the Decisive trait is a decent trait to boost for most playstyles.
