After the success of Oblivion, the only question is when’s the next one coming out? Well, according to a blurb on the Waterstones website for the upcoming Greg Keyes novel The Elder Scrolls: Infernal City, we may have some hints on what the next game may be about.
According to Kotaku, the site featured the following quote which seemingly has been changed since then.
Will that be the setting of the next Elder Scrolls game?
There’s still a question about whether or not the next game will be an MMO (please don’t be), but I want another Oblivion style with one important chance… the addition of co-op? I think I’d be satisfied for life if I could play a new Morrowind/Oblivion with a friend in those vast worlds. Well, that and improved combat - the AI is ridiculous when it comes to range combat, but that’s neither here nor there.
