The incident occurred on June 24, and the man, who was identified by police on Friday as James Lambert, was pronounced dead the next day. AFK farming is a means of continuously acquiring runes, Elden Ring’s currency, by using Torrent to reach an otherwise unaccessible area and hiding there. Subsequently, using Taunter’s Tongue will allow Bloody Fingers to invade their world, but given use of Torrent is disabled in PvP, the invader is unable to reach the host. The intention is to force invaders to leave, or fight Blue Hunters, which grants a number of runes to the host, meaning in theory that they are able to go AFK, enjoy their day, and return to a bounty they can level up with....
