Japanese Elden Ring player ETC_only shared a message on Twitter recently detailing their hilarious struggles with confusing English messages. Specifically, they detail an experience where they come across messages that read “Fort, night” in Japanese. Obviously, in English it’s clear that these messages are shared by gamers making puns or absurd jokes about Fortnite. In Japanese, however, the words don’t sound out as Fortnite. The characters read out as the Japanese characters toride and yoru....

Meanwhile, others are still exploring Elden Ring’s massive open world and brawling with its powerful bosses. One big feature responsible for ever-changing gameplay is the game’s combat, which can be tackled in many different ways. Some players will build their character into the beefiest tank possible, tanking hits and dishing them out from close range; other players will create a full glass cannon mage build, destroying enemies from range. Elden Ring co-op makes it possible for players to explore large chunks of the Lands Between map together, but generally speaking, most likely use it to get help in boss fights. After all, Elden Ring boss fights are extremely challenging, and the main goal of the game is to progress through the world by defeating all the major bosses. There are certainly a variety of ways that this co-op system could be improved, but one improvement that comes to mind would be implementing a spectator mode....
