Whether it is the Fallingstar Beast in the Caelid mines or the one in Mt. Gelmir’s crater, there are many reasons why this boss has given the Elden Ring community so much trouble. For starters, it is incredibly durable, shrugging off attacks from sharp weapons with ease - something that is problematic since many players run sword builds. On top of this, the Fallingstar Beast’s attacks are nearly nonstop, many of which come with some unpredictable movement attached....

Speaking of difficulty, Elden Ring has more than 100 bosses, most of which are extremely challenging to beat. Many players die countless times at the hands of these formidable bosses like Malenia - Blade of Miquella, The Fire Giant, Mohg - Lord of Blood, and Maliketh - The Black Blade. The ESA, the organizing body behind E3, expanded its list of “Participating Companies” over the weekend. The list includes dozens of partner publishers, including major companies like Nintendo and Xbox. One of the latest additions to the list is Bandai Namco, which had previously been unconfirmed. Bandai Namco is notable because it’s the publisher of Elden Ring, so if the game is going to be shown at E3 than Bandai Namco would have to participate....

It was during a recent gameplay preview that Elden Ring showed off many of its systems, both new and familiar. Among these were open world traversal on horseback (or riding something that looks like a horse), a mechanic similar to bonfires, camps of enemies, and boss battles. Unfortunately, it is possible that some fans already know some of what is to come, as a few Elden Ring spoilers leaked online. This prompted FromSoftware to kindly ask fans via Twitter not to spoil Elden Ring for others. While many players have probably finished the game and moved on, some are testing out new builds and strategies in PvP. Some users are also going AFK to farm runes in Elden Ring, but fans have discovered ways to counter such methods. Invasions have played a key role in the multiplayer aspect of other FromSoftware games, and Elden Ring is no different. Now, one player shares a terrifying story of what happened when they got invaded....

This comes courtesy of Reddit user mndflyr, who posted to the Elden Ring subreddit, sharing their experience of walking into the Godskin Duo and not even being able to take one extra step into the room. To add insult to injury, it isn’t even the boss that winds up killing the player, instead, it’s a consistent issue that previous FromSoftware titles have had with the fog walls that lead into arenas since Demon’s Souls....

Uploaded on February 24, just one day ahead of the game’s launch, Holoopee’s video recreates key scenes from several Elden Ring trailers with a significantly decreased polygon count and a dose of the odd distortion that was prevalent in the early years of 3D gaming. Including several scenes of grand vistas and barely-recognizable reworkings of some of the bosses seen in the trailers leading up to Elden Ring’s release, it’s an amazingly well-done demake that’ll have nostalgic ‘90s gamers longing for a bygone gaming era....

Elden Ring has already had a closed network test, during which a lucky few got the chance to try it out early. The results were positive, and people praised the experience. Even George R.R. Martin has praised Elden Ring, having been involved in the creation of the game to do, “A bit of worldbuilding.” One key aspect of this worldbuilding may be the game’s classes, which offer up plenty of opportunity for variation....

A weapon that has found a great deal of interest from Elden Ring players is the twinblade. The twinblade looks at first glance like it is two longswords attached to one another by the hilt. Whether this weapon was an invention of the game developers or fantasy author George R.R. Martin is unknown, but since there are only two in the original Dark Souls games, many players have found its return to Elden Ring as a welcome one....

Like many of the significant Elden Ring boss fights, the boss fight against Radahn is essentially broken up into two phases. The first phase will have players attempting to avoid Radahn’s arrow shots while trying to get in close to lay in some hits. Up close, Elden Ring players have to avoid being hit by Radahn’s swords, which is no easy feat. But with enough perseverance, Elden Ring players should be able to cut Radahn’s health meter in half and progress to the second phase of the boss fight....

The initial story of Elder Scrolls Online also dealt with a Daedric Prince and his plane of Oblivion, with Molag Bal and the realm of Cold Harbor attempting to invade Tamriel. The two new dungeons in The Elder Scrolls Online’s Dragon Bones DLC are Scalecaller Peak and Fang Lair, with both being available to play on normal and veteran modes. According to the description of the new expansion pack, it will “pit you and your team against new and returning enemies, including plague-ridden ogres, powerful sorcerers and their undead creations, and even the reanimated bones of an ancient dragon.” The Dragon Bones DLC is completely free to ESO Plus members and available for purchase for 1500 crowns from the in-game Crown Store....

Election officials in Miami-Dade County and Broward County, both Democratic strongholds, indicated a higher-than-expected turnout on Election Day. Over 63 percent of voters in both counties had already cast ballots in early voting, according to the United States Elections Project. “Right now the overall turnout is almost 71%,” Steve Vancore, spokesman for the Broward County Supervisor of Elections, told The Miami Herald in the afternoon. “We’re still picking up ballots at the post office and there’s been a nonstop line at drop boxes for mail-in ballots, so an 80% turnout is within reach....
